AEW All Out 2022 Results 9/4/22

Tay Mello & Sammy Guevara d. Ruby Soho & Ortiz to retain the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship. |

The match started in the back & then preceded to the ring. Talk about starting Zero Hour in hot fashion. Tay Mello hits Ruby Soho w/ a TayKO & it looked like she may have really hit Ruby’s nose.

Hook d. Angelo Parker | Parker actually made Hook look a little vulnerable but he quickly shifted the odds. After he did he got Parker positioned for the Red Rum. Afterwards he was attacked but Action Bronson comes in for the save. Chicago gives them a good reception.

Bastard PAC d. Kip Sabian to retain the AEW All Atlantic Championship | This was the first title defense in the United States since the inception of the title which is allowed to be defended outside of AEW. PAC hit the Black Arrow to put a returning Kip Sabian away. Pretty standard.

Eddie Kingston d. Tomohiro Ishii | Hard hitting! These two beat the tar out of each other. The slap fest was absolutely crazy. Kingston hits a Northern Lights Bomb to pick up the win on the last match of Zero Hour.

AEW ALL OUT
Casino Ladder Match The Joker d. Rey Fenix, Rush, Wheeler Yuta, Andre El Idio, Claudio Castinoli, Pentagon Jr., Dante Martin | This match had a lot of action up until the end when the Stokley Hathaway faction stormed the ring & claimed the casino chip to hand to the entering Joker to win the match. The Joker did not unveil their identity. Strange ending.

Kenny Omega, Matt & Nick Jackson (The Elite) d. Adam Paige, John Silver, Alex Reynolds (The Dark Order) to win the World Trios Championships. |

There was a lot to enjoy in this match including Kenny Omega & “Hangman” Adam Paige facing off. The history between these two is rich. What ends this match is a Buckshot Lariat when Omega avoids it & it hits John Silver. Kenny quickly covers John.

Jade Cargill d. Athena to retain the TBS Championship & remain undefeated. | Athena attempted to end this early but was heavy hitting the entire time. Jade is now 37-0.

Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler (FTR) Wardlow d. Jay Lethal & Alex Shelly & Chris Sabin (The Motor City Machine Guns) | Another six man match but FTR are so good & Wardlow hits the powerbomb symphony. Afterwards Dax’s daughter Finley comes out & breaks Sonjay Dutt’s pencil & then gets knocked out by Dax. Finley gets a ceremonial three count.

Powerhouse Hobbs d. Ricky Starks | Good story but felt little short. Spin buster for the win.

Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland (Swerve in our Glory) d. Max Caster & Anthony Bowens (The Acclaimed) to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships | Chicago wanted to see The Acclaimed beat the champions & there were some close exchanges too. Seems like the story coming out of this match is The Acclaimed are close to becoming champions & Swerve in our Glory are having communication issues.

Toni Storm d. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D, Jamie Hayter, & Hikaru Shida to become the new AEW Interim Women’s World Champion | Early on there was several roll up to attempts to get a quick victory but that didn’t happen. Rebel got involved because there are no DQ’s. Meaning foreign objects show up but it didn’t take away. Jamie Hayter came within an eyelash of winning but Britt pulled out the ref which lead into the finish in which Toni hit pendulum DDT’s to get the win.

Christian Cage d. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry | Luchasaurs immediately choke slammed Jungle Boy off the stage & then through a ringside table. He was easy pickings for Christian.

“Lionheart” Chris Jericho d. “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson. | Classic including the mat wrestling early on. Exchanges, reversals, tombstone piledriver. Lots to enjoy about this match. Jericho pulls off the win with a low blow that Aubrey Edwards did not see followed by a Judas Effect back elbow.

Miro, Darby Allen, & Sting d. Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews (The House of Black) | Sting flights fire with fire by spraying black mist into the face of Malakai Black.

C.M. Punk d. Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. | CM Punk came out swinging for fences & almost won the title with GTS in mere minutes but Moxley kicked out. Brawled outside of the ring. Punk got busted open on the ring post. Moxley through everything at him but tonight Punk was not going to stop until he won. Afterwards MJF returned & he already has a title shot as he won the Casino Ladder Match as the Joker.
