‘It was the test case’: Charleston played role in getting HBO’s ‘Our Towns’ the green light | Life & Arts | wvgazettemail.com

I may have started in print media back around the year 2000 but it has not been my passion until now.

Digital media, the media age, is changing & shaping the world we live in on a daily basis.

Our Towns was a book made by life long by life long writers & researchers James & Deborah Fallows who traveled the Untied States by going over 100,000 miles into small communities. Now it is a documentary movie on HBO Max, a streaming service just in case you are unaware of this offering.

One of the reasons I am publishing this is they covered the greater Charleston, West Virginia, area.  This area may not be a New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Charlotte, Miami, or bigger major cities in the United States but it could be a prime destination.  It may sit around 50,000 people give or take, but for a smaller place it really is a special place. Hark working people who enjoy the best life this area has to offer.

This is worth checking out, especially if you enjoy these types of documentaries.

If not for a trip to Charleston, HBO’s new documentary, “Our Towns,” might never have gotten off the ground.
