Adventure in Life

Life is not easy, it is definitely no sunshine and rainbows all the time. I’m not here to sugar coat it or give you any fluff because it’s b*******! What I can tell you is life can be very adventurous.

Many people relate to the feeling of a roller coaster life but after a recent book I read or listened to on audible, really need to get an affiliate link if I keep doing this, that helps you redefine the analogy of the roller coaster.

In this book, Love UnFu*ked by Gary John Bishop, it has you go all the way to the rock bottom toward yourself where you have to be at peace with whatever happens the circumstances, situations, scenarios and unexpected of life.

Where we go wrong is humans as we let our emotions and feelings go wild, yes we have them for a reason but they’re not always correct and they lead us to problematic situations. If we can remain calm in the storm we perform nearly at our best.

A really stream example and the only reason I know this is because I’ve listened to him talk about it in multiple interviews. You can prepare for any scenario or situation unless it’s something that is above and beyond that. During the tragic events of 9/11 the mayor of New York was Rudolph Giuliani.

This is where political affiliation goes out the window. Rudolph Giuliani was put in a position that was the most unexpected situation he could find himself in and had been trained for crisis situations that could occur in New York City. A major terror attack was not one of them. He was going to state the shock just like everyone else but after collecting himself for a few minutes he realized that the one thing they needed the most was to get communication back up. On that very day they lost communication almost immediately after the towers were struck. Mass chaos ensued but the first responders on the ground were well trained and did what they need to do in the situation. Until communications were reestablished there was no coordinated effort between what was going on at towers and the rest of the city.

The truly sad day in American history but Rudolph Giuliani was not emotional that day because he had to have a clear and level head as a leader. The calmer you are the more level headed you can be in the situation. I know not everyone can handle life like this but if you want to live an adventurous and extraordinary life you need to be ready to take on anything and anyone including the evil that is just in the world. Thanks for reading!
